Sharing Reports

Reports are stored in the database.  Import and export functions are available that will let you share the reports with other users or move them to other databases.  To share a report, export it to a file, then import the file into the new database.

 

 

 

To export a report:

  1. Open the Manage Report window.    How?How?Open the SixBit Options window.        How?How?Click the File Menu button in the upper left corner and then choose SixBit Options in the lower right corner of the popup.
    Select the Reports tab on the left, then the desired Report tab that appears on the right.

    Click the Manage () icon to the right of the Style drop down.

 

 

  1. Select a report and click the Export button.
  2. In the Open window that appears, provide a name for the exported file and click OK.  
  3. Reports and subreports are used in pairs.  When exporting a report, you should also export the corresponding subreport.

 

 

To import a report:
