Background
If you are experiencing this specific error on startup or if SixBit looks as though it's opening and then closes it could be this exact issue. Check the Activity Log for more information to the following errors if the splash screen loads and then closes. SixBit crashing with [The ADO.NET provider with invariant name 'System.Data.SqlClient' is either not registered in the machine or application config file, or could not be loaded. See the inner exception for details. [System.ArgumentException]?Unable to find the requested .Net Framework Data Provider. It may not be installed.
Solution
Refer to the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Run Notepad as administrator
2. In Notepad, navigate out to the following directory and load the Machines.config file: C:\windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319
3. After opening the machines.config perform a find for the following text: "system.data>"
4. Remove the closing tag, Save and Exit
5. SixBit should now load without crashing now
