Marking an Order as Shipped

When an order has been shipped, there are several things that need to occur.  Rather than requiring the seller to manually perform these tasks, they have all been rolled up into one simple button labelled Mark as Shipped.


When you have shipped an order, you should click the Mark as Shipped button.  Clicking the Mark as Shipped button will perform the following tasks:




Although you can perform each of these steps individually, we strongly recommend that you make it a habit to use the Mark as Shipped button after your items have been shipped and you have recorded the tracking number.

If you use SixBit to print postage, you can have your items automatically marked as shipped simply by printing the postage or packing lists.  See Setting Postage and Packing List Options for more info.
