Keeping in Sync with Selling Sites

Because SixBit is a desktop program, it is not in constant contact with the eCommerce(Electronic Commerce) - the buying and selling of products or services over electronic systems such as the Internet. sites.  Instead, it must periodically send and update data by synchronizing with each site; this includes information about recent category changes, updated bids on your items, and recording new sales that occur.

A manual or automatic synchronization will synch:

  • seller information including DSR scores
  • seller preferences on the selling sites
  • shipping profiles on eBay
  • eBay store information including categories
  • seller feedbacks
  • list of eBay themes
  • list of eBay charities
  • eBay category changes
  • eBay item specifics changes
  • eBay catalog search field changes

During a synchronization with eBay, SixBit will refresh information about your listings.  By default, only listings for items that are currently in SixBit will be synchronized.  If you would like SixBit to import items that aren't already in the database when performing a refresh, that option can be turned on from the Refreshes tab on the Options window.  How? How? Click the File Menu button in the upper left corner and then choose SixBit Options in the lower right corner of the popup.   On the Options window, click the Refresh tab on the left.

Synchronizing can be performed...
