Rules for Importing Sales via CSV

These rules are specific to importing sales from a CSV.  For general documentation on importing from a CSV, see Importing from a Comma Separated Values Flat File.

 

Unique Identifiers

The unique identifier fields for a sale are used to determine whether an existing sale should be updated or a new sale should be added.  During a sale import, the unique identifiers (in order of precedence) are: SaleID, TransactionID.

 

Sales are part of a shipment, so when importing, the ShipmentID or the ExternalShipmentID that the sale is part of must be specified.
