Have you tried leaving your pc on, overnight, without SB running?
I don’t think SB is hanging your pc…..but this is where I’d start….
Reed….I’ve had this happen.
I think it may be related to the fact that I didn’t reboot my PC, after the upgrade.
When I’ve seen this issue, a reboot has always fixed it.
How about for you?
Gang, is this issue still persisting in the current Beta?
Or has this been resolved?
Can someone give this thread an update?
Are you asking for that field to be the default value of 2, when creating new AZ listings, from SB?
SB has some serious issues, trying to create brand new AZ listings….so I doubt that is what you’re after.
And, I know that in Seller Central, there’s not a way to set your default latency to 2….when creating new listings.
If you create a new listing, from Amazon, by copying an existing listing, make sure the “copy from” listing has it set to 2, and you’re ok.
Or, simply go to the Running grid on SB, and do a batch edit.
I do that all the time on Amazon listings, to change my latency.
If I’m headed out of town for a couple of days, I’ll do a batch edit, and change latency to 5. Then when I’m back, I’ll have SB change them all to 2.
Works like a charm.
As you can see, SB support doesn’t spend much time on this forum, which is a shame.
Did you get your default font feature back?
What did you find to be the cause of this?
Are you using Amazon’s auto repricer?
Do you realize, that as you make modifications to your Amazon listings, in SixBit’s Listings grid, ALL fields will get sent to Amazon by Sixbit, on Sixbit’s next update?
Sixbit doesn’t simply change the field(s) you altered.
If there’s any way you can figure out how to get your changes done, using wrappers, DO IT!
One of my favorite features of wrappers is that you can alter a wrapper down the road, and tell SB to apply that change to all the listings that use that wrapper…..IN THE BACKGROUND.
Huge time saver.
Also, changes to Items will apply to Listings, as long as:
1) the change has to do with quantities or price
2) From items you Force Reallocation (under Manage Inventory), after the change to quantities or price
3) Your checkbox is un-ticked, under Main Menu / Options, to ignore allocation updates
As far as I know….there is not.
The only option I can think of, is storing your images outside of the SB database, and using a series of folders. Give your images generic names like 1.jpg, 2.jpg, etc.
Then copy your desired images, into your product folder as needed, and flag SB to re-upload images.
Realize what John said is that they are working on getting the non-AZ ASIN feature fully implemented, first.
In my opinion, there a lot to be done with that feature yet, so I wouldn’t expect to see webstore implementation for quite some time yet.
Basically what BAM said.
You just need to make more subfolders, and use those to organize your records.
Ahhhhh !!!!
Egg on my face!
Come on, John, how could you not rub it in, just a little bit?
I deserved at least a little ribbing….
Installing .274 right now.
Excitement ensues…..
And, yes….I’ll go easy on this, and help with any bugs I find….
Terry is almost correct.
Click the Windows icon, and type/enter “Services”.
Look for SQL Server (SIXBITDBSERVER)
R-Click, and select Start
Go back to SB, and have a smoke.
Within 10 minutes all should be well.
Leave the agent alone…it’ll take care of itself.
Very good reply, John. Very complete.
John, are you suggesting we all open tickets?
John, isn’t this going to affect all of us?
How do I shrink my DB back to it’s original size?
