For the community for anyone else having the problem:

    Six bit said:
‘new’ and ‘used’ would be the default choices for a category that SixBit doesn’t have the feature set on. SixBit won’t grab the feature set until an item is created for that category. The import would have to handle that lookup and it currently does not. At the moment you’d need to create an item for that category before importing so that the condition type comes in with the rest of the category features.
A remote session is not necessary. I’ll add this to the feature requests for the devs to look into.

Thanks for the reply, yes that is the exact problem I am having, and yes it would be very helpful for the developers to have sixbit grab that feature set when items are imported, otherwise it really isn’t a “true and exact” import of data.

Please let me know when the beta is out on this fix, it would be beneficial.

    Thanks, WestPlace

    John,
Thanks for the reply. I installed Sixbit beta version 3.00.147 on both computers and followed your steps to the T with no success.

Upon further investigation I have found that that version of sixbit does export the “ebay condition ID” however when you try to import from csv it is not possible to map the ebay condition ID because it does not exist on the import side, I have attached a screenshot of what I am talking about.

I have checked on the export .csv file and it does export the condition ID’s correctly but there is no way to map them on the import side. Note: I have found that items in any given category where an item exists in my database with that exact category it imports correctly (even before the beta update) However, if it is the first time I am using that category in the database I am trying to upload into, it can’t recognize that a category has other condition fields other than “new” and “used” until i have went into each item and selected the final category in the category tree.

And, yes I have updated the Auxillary sync before and after the import. (it has successfully auxiliary synced every time too, so its not like it isn’t sncying correctly.

    Please advice.
