The old board did have some good info there… just saying
By default Sixbit stores the pictures in the database, but there is an option to store them in a folder on the hard drive.
Did you change the default location where the pictures are stored before this happened?
This working better now?
Oh Good.
I hope from that point you can select/highlight all those listings, right click and revise the 2nd category right outta there! 🙂
Could you just check the “Ebay Category 2” column in Running and sort them so populated values are at the top?
How many listings are we talking about?
Hi John,
I just submitted a ticket about this.. We updated this morning to .285 beta and all kinds of things are broke with the html editor.. Screenshots w/ticket
Have you tried importing by ecommerceID?
mmm… Let me ask this…
How many of you use ebays & Sixdbit Out of Stock feature?
I’m told my issue is on ebays end, but if that is the case, I’m perplexed as to why no one else is experiencing the same issue.
BUMP!
umm,, I just searched the site for this question in hopes of finding an answer..
We’re having issues with pictures in Sixbit also…. Every few weeks I need to scroll thru our running and Out-of-Stock items and correct issues with missing, and out of sequence images.
The missing images in Sixbit show the text picture name and ebay url, but no image is shown.. Yet, all the original images are still on ebay
See Screenshots.
No one else is having this issue?
Robert,
I don’t think choosing your website platform based on which Sixbit will implement first is the way to go about picking your platform.
You should choose one based on whats best your your business.
We went with BigCommerce based on recommendations from people with knowledge in these matters. BigCommerce came in high regards.
Cost was another factor and at $250 a month for the Pro plan, it’s a good deal.
Building product pages was a learning curve, but now that I’ve been thru the ringer, I must say the User interface is very good, and managing products is very easy.
The optional integrated payment and shipping gateways implemented with our existing services (Paypal and Shipworks) super easy.
Now that it’s up and running, I hardly even need to log into the site.. (although I do need to add more products)
just sayin…
Chuck
Bigcommerce please..
James.. Could you try this..
Assuming all the items will have the same description/text/design,, Edit the first listing the way you want, and run the revision. Then reopen that item, and Copy all (ctrl+A and then ctrl+C) the HTML (from the HTML tab) from the the editor and close the listing. (no revision needed)
Now select all the items you want to batch edit.
Open the batch window and paste the HTML into the box. and then revise.
Let me know if that does what you’re asking.
Chuck
I second the request.. We have 19 listers.
Yep.. That’ll work.. Thanks
OCDesigns is working our new template at this very moment
