I’d really like this for one of the top three ecommerce store platforms…. Even better would be a sixbit store or marketplace…..

Sixbit definitely needs a way to convert single listings to variants and variants back to singles. This is a feature I really need, doing it by import and export mostly does not work.

Jeff I think I know what you are trying to do…..

If it is a variation, we want text to say Select your COLOR/SIZE from the drop down menu above and then ADD to cart or BUY.

If it is not a variation, nothing.

Is that what you are trying to do?

Could you post and share the code example when you get it worked out?

Why not use a “store search” as a link? It will always be up to date.

You could create a custom specific called Search:
and you fill it in with whatever words you would want the buyer to search.

In your template you would use a conditional logic statement that if it finds something in “search:” it would display http://stores.ebay.com/xinar?_dmd=2&_nkw=%5B%5Bsearch:%5D%5D

That would build a link in your template *IF* you have words in the custom specific Search: *BUT* if there were nothing, nothing would display.

Same here, I go to edit an item and the images do not show up.

I had problems with SB choking on my large images also. I started optimizing them for filesize with IRfanview and bringing them in at around 100kb and SB loads them fast.

So if you use the eBay themes in sixbit, there is not a fee?

As a dirty workaround…… You could setup a test item in Sixbit, upload it to the test category. You could then host 12 images on ebay Picture Services in the listing. You can grab the image link from eBay EPS and then use that link in a listing, a wrapper, a snippet ect.

You could do this to host a logo, a vacation image or anything you can imagine. The cost would be 10 cents a moth or if you have free listings nada…

I have heard that you could schedule a listing and then cancel it with no charge, I have no idea how long the image would persist on EPS after that.
