Cause: This error occurs when SQL Server has been uninstalled but the SBData files remain on the computer. During reinstallation, SixBit attempts to create a new database but encounters existing files blocking the process.
Solution
Delete or move the database files after uninstalling SQL Server. The files are typically located at:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL16.SIXBITDBSERVER\MSSQL\DATA
Files to remove:
- SBData.mdf
- SBData_Log.ldf
