Description Editor Opens with Blank Screen Print

SixBit uses a third-party WYSIWYG editor for editing descriptions, wrappers, and emails. This editor requires certain internet options to be set to work correctly.


When opening the WYSIWYG editor, the menu bar for the editor does not appear and the input area is a blank white space.

Possible Solutions:

There are a few known causes of this issue. The first cause is a conflict with Dragon Naturally Speaking, the second possibility is that Active Scripting is not enabled in your internet settings.

To solve this problem...,

1. If you have Dragon Naturally Speaking running, then stop it.

If that doesn't fix it, you must make sure Active Scripting is enabled in your internet settings.

To enable Active Scripting.

1. Open the Internet Properties window. In Windows 7 and Vista, you can get to this window from Start | Control Panel | Network and Internet | Internet Options.

2. Select the Security tab.

3. From the Internet Zone, click on the Custom Level button.

4. Make sure Active Scripting is set to Enable.
