Cancelling Listings

Occasionally, it may be necessary to end a listing before the item is sold.  The item may have been sold through another channel or it may have been lost/broken.   In addition, you may want to cancel scheduled listings before they run.

To cancel selected listings:

  1. Open the Check Listings mode.     How?How? From the Mode selector in the lower left, choose Check Listings.
  2. From the grid, select one or more running listings that will be cancelled.
  3. From the ribbon bar, click the Cancel button.   The Cancel Listing window will appear.

  4. If the site requires a reason, select the appropriate reason and click End Now.  The listings will be ended and will be moved to the Completed status.
  5. For Amazon listings, choose whether to Deactivate or Delete the listings.

Deactivating will keep the listing on Amazon, but change its quantity to 0.  The listing record in SixBit will remain and move to the Out of Stock substatus. This in effect will hide it from buyers.  When deactivating, the Allocation Plan for Amazon will be turned off.  To reactivate the listing, simply reset an Allocation Plan.  When relisted, it will return to the Running status.

Deleting will remove the listing from Amazon completely.  The SixBit listing will also be removed.  To get it back on Amazon, a new listing will need to be submitted from Sell Items mode.
