Creating Items

Before an item can be listed on an eCommerce(Electronic Commerce) - the buying and selling of products or services over electronic systems such as the Internet. site, it must be in the inventory.  One of SixBit 's primary goals is to make the tedious process of creating item records easier.

 

The following tasks can be performed within SixBit:

Once the item is created, users may also want to label it for easy retrieval later.  By printing barcoded labels for items, users can quickly and easily display items, listings, and orders for the item.  See Barcode Scanners for more information on how to implement a barcode scanner with SixBit.
